About
"I have always been fascinated with the Golden Mean and try to incorporate that ratio into the composition of my works."
In the late 60s and early 70s I attempted to be a painter.
I had a loft and did large canvas paintings with some success. Many of the artists in my social group were more talented and dedicated, yet they were starving. Coming to grips with that reality and wanting to have a secure life I gave it up and continued a work career.
Recently retired and feeling idle I started doing artwork again but, without the benefit of a loft or studio, on a much smaller scale. Having a show at a local restaurant that sold over half the pieces encouraged me to continue. I have always been fascinated with the Golden Mean and try to incorporate that ratio in the composition of my works. I hope you find the work of interest and welcome all comments and questions.
